This Soverel 33 is owned and raced regularly by the owner of an established rigging shop in San Diego. The old cabin sole was a mess, and was falling apart. Besides a new look, the owner wanted better grip for those going down below, and some insulation against noise and the cold of the water (the sole on this boat is the inside of the hull itself) coming through the hull. SeaCork proved to be a great answer, and despite rough treatment, is holding up well. Dirty shoes are the biggest issue, and even that can be largely remedied by using CorkCoat, and scrubbing with soap and water every few weeks.
